The successful candidate will play a key role in not only driving sales for Prime Brokerage but also supporting the broader Marex franchise. This includes our market-leading clearing and commodities business, as well as our innovative structuring services.

Marex Prime Services offers a comprehensive suite of brokerage and related services that provide investment managers with solutions that are customizable and scalable.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Responsible for distribution of the team’s prime brokerage and outsourced trading products into HK and replying to reverse inquiries from Asia.
  • Setting up the sales and marketing function in HK. This included educating investors about the department as well as the prime brokerage products on offer.
  • Visit investors offices to present prime brokerage and outsourced trading solutions.
  • Liaise between the HK and London office on clients and products related matters.
  • Responsible for determining and executing client service and pricing levels.
  • Responsible for developing and executing on marketing strategy.
  • Part of office management as second local RO and MIC for sales and marketing

  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the MAS.
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

  • At all times complying with Marex’s Code of Conduct.
  • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
  • To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required.
  • To escalate risk events immediately.
  • To provide input to risk management processes, as required.
  • The Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to time.
