Purpose of Role:
Marex Solutions is a division of Marex providing investment banking solutions with a fintech mindset. We aim to become the world’s leading manufacturer of cross asset, customised derivatives.
Supporting the Solutions COO team to manage the solutions business with a focus on digital assets. You will play a key role in building the operational infrastructure to support the rapid growth of Solutions business, as well as helping to define and deliver the strategy.
As a liaison between the Solutions Business and Control and Support functions of the wider group, you will be a key contact and the go to person centrally. Working alongside COO and Sales/Trading functions in delivering projects related to the initial creation, processing, and automation of the solutions product offering, enabling the business to keep growing sustainably and integrating expansion opportunities when they arise.
This is an excellent development opportunity for a junior with a keen interest in digital assets to join the team to develop expertise in Structured Products and Business Management. As a central player in the business, you will be responsible for the following:
• Drive innovation and collaborate with FO and Support & Control stakeholders to launch new digital asset and structured product initiatives.
• Become the digital asset champion go-to and enhance the digital asset infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
• Supporting and driving change for the Marex Solutions Sales team by reviewing existing process and identifying enhancements via automation and use of technology.
• Managing daily adhoc requests from Sales to assist with day to day and wider business process enhancements.
• Ability to face off to multiple FO and Support and Control stakeholders to drive business initiatives within a controlled sustainable framework.
• Entrepreneurial spirit to optimise and develop new ideas and solutions to foster new initiatives and address challenges.
Responsibilities:
• Supporting the execution and delivery of both strategic and tactical projects essential to the Solutions business with a strong emphasis on digital assets:
o Responsible for establishing project plans, identifying scope, ensuring successful execution of project plan, rolling out new projects end to end
o Generate ideas on how to improve the management of new business initiatives
o Responsible for the effective communication with key stakeholders
• Creating, reviewing and improve existing MI and KPIs to effectively monitor and steer the business and manage business performance
• Lead and manage digital asset initiatives to successful delivery
• Ensuring effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes and procedures and identifying ways to improve them across onboarding, credit, change management and governance.
• Co-operate closely with support teams and the business to complete tasks and projects on schedule and clearly communicate progress
• Promote innovation and work on idea generation
• Support Sales business and digital asset initiatives / projects with subject matter experts, together with Legal and Compliance
• Ensuring Sales business is conducted in accordance with local and general regulatory rules
• Ensure that Sales Conflict Management and trainings are up to date
• Clear communication with the manager and respective team
