Role Summary

The Corporate Affairs team protects and promotes Marex’s reputation externally and internally by engaging with potential and existing employees, clients, and investors, as well as other stakeholders and the broader community.

The Corporate Affairs and Marketing Graduate will be responsible for supporting and coordinating all day-to-day activities of the Corporate Affairs team, liaising with team members, internal stakeholders, external agencies and partners to ensure maximum efficiency and collaboration. They will support content development, helping to create and deliver content on internal and external channels. They will also be responsible for media and social media monitoring, fact checking, logistical and events support, regular reporting and other administrative tasks.

This role will have a wide and varied remit, supporting and learning from the whole team, which comprises media relations, social media, all marketing activity including digital marketing, collateral development and events, and internal communications. This is also an opportunity to learn B2B marketing and communications strategies at a growing and dynamic global financial services company.


Overall Responsibilities

Digital, Social, Content & Brand

  • Supports content development including researching, sourcing and fact checking stories, news and features.
  • Helps to plan, develop and publish content, including video content, across internal and external channels, including LinkedIn and other digital channels
  • Helps to manage social media monitoring and listening tools
  • Produces quality PowerPoint presentations for key events.
  • Builds and manages a digital brand and assets library.
  • Manages the governance and quality control processes for the brand’s visual identity, providing guidance and monitoring compliance.
  • Supports on collateral development, processing day-to-day production requests, working with our internal design team and external agencies.
  • Manages our planning and strategy processes, ensuring demand, timescales, priorities and resourcing are aligned.

External communications

  • Monitors the Press Office inbox, responding to routine enquires and escalating requests.
  • Builds and maintains a media contact database.
  • Fact checks media materials.
  • Researches and collates information for media and public affairs briefings.
  • Helps to manages the media monitoring service and ensures internal distribution lists are kept up to date.

Events

  • Provides additional event logistics and production support as required on external and internal events, in collaboration with the Events team.

Internal communications

  • Supports activities and events to promote internal engagement, including DE&I and charitable volunteering activities
  • Drafts articles and sources stories to promote internal communications.

Reporting

  • Supports the Global Head of Corporate Affairs to produce reporting for the ExCo and Board; scheduling, compiling and organising information and data provided by the Corporate Affairs Team
