Purpose of Role:

Marex is seeking a Client Services Representative who is an experienced, strategic, diligent, ambitious, and proactive individual, responsible for a portfolio of Prime Services products. Intermediate level position with the ability to work autonomously, and also as part of a team and directly engage with clients. Commercial ability to maintain good relationship with clients and find new ones to bring flow.

This role covers the Prime Services function within the Capital Markets division of Marex.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for prime brokerage customers.
  • Help to resolve daily issues for clients such as trade breaks.
  • Issue margin and risk calls to respective client.
  • Initiate money movement and/or the movement of securities into or out of customer accounts.
  • Help clients process corporate actions, make them aware of other products available to them, and make elections on for them on their behalf
  • Work to strengthen relationships with existing clients to foster growth in the business.
  • Continue to expand knowledge of Marex’s other products and take advantage of cross selling opportunities.
  • Be an active participant in the onboarding and offboarding of accounts.
  • Support other portions of the business such as trading and sales in the allocation, settlement, and clearance of trades.
  • Complete all mandatory continuing education requirements to keep necessary licenses in place.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
  • Carrying out regulatory activities under the Marex Financial and MSIL trading books.
  • Liaising with clients in US; clients include banks, hedge funds, market makers, fund managers, institutional, trading houses and other trading boutiques.

Skills and Experience

  • Substantial experience working in and knowledge of Prime Brokerage and Outsourced Trading product area.
  • Experience of the infrastructural support required to efficiently support Prime Brokerage and Outsourced Trading business lines.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
  • Experience in operating on electronic market making infrastructure.
  • Experience in risk managing of Prime Brokerage and Outsourced Trading portfolios.
  • Knowledge of the underlying products at Marex within the Prime Brokerage and Outsourced Trading remit.

Salary Range: $125,000 to $150,000 per year base salary and eligible for discretionary bonus.
